Trumpeter Swan
After reading that the Trumpeter Swan was seen again yesterday afternoon on the pond at Heston Farm, Alice and I stopped by there on our way to grocery shopping in Waynesboro. Trumpeter Swans are not supposed to be in Virginia, and the few that are occasionally reported here are probably from the flock reintroduced around the Great Lakes. Sure enough, it was there.
