Dense fog this morning. There was a large Snapping Turtle just across the street from my house.

The fog was supposed to clear by 10:00, so I headed over to the Rockfish Valley Trail a little before that. A pair of Red-tailed Hawks greeted me as the fog started to lift, and at 10:00 the fog was gone. Almost to the minute! I did a quick 45 minute hike to the bog area, and then back upstream to the park benches, and only saw 22 of the 36 species I had seen on the trail yesterday. The Yellow-rumped Warblers were molting, and some of them weren't very pretty.
