Rockfish Valley Trail 11/14/13

All photos are Marshall Faintich

It was a beautiful day for birding, but I had to go into Charlottesville this morning, so I went to the trail shortly after lunch. I didn't expect to see very much avian activity that time of day, and unfortunately, I was not disappointed, as the activity lived up to my expectations and I only saw 16 species. Most of the birds downstream were Field and Song Sparrows, and Chipping Sprrows were upstream
