Alice had one more free day before the bridge tournament, so we headed over to Snoqualmie Falls. She had never been there before, and I had read that another potential life bird, American Dipper, might be found there. Most of the birds we saw there were American Robins, Black-capped Chickadees, and Barn Swallows. We took the steep hike down to the river, and I immediately saw a Common Merganser in the river below the falls.

And then I saw two American Dippers.

On the hike up the trail, I saw a chipmunk with a very long tail.

I got a very quick look at what appeared to be a falcon flying overhead, but both photos were out-of-focus, so I could not identify it.
Falcon?
We made a quick stop at Lake Sammammish State Park on our return. It was full of people, and there weren't many birds to see there.
Western Gull?
