Rain during the night ended early, and I was able to go for a morning hike on the Rockfish Valley Trail under dark skies. Although I ended up with 27 avian species there, I didn't see any migrating species. I had time for a short afternoon hike here in Stoney Creek, and added six more avian species to my total for the day.
