I hadn't been over to the Lickinghole Creek Reservoir since last April 11, 2016, when I saw an adult Bald Eagle on its nest there. It was hot and sunny today, and I hoped that at least some of the path around the reservoir would be mowed. When I got there, I could hear a raptor calling, and soon saw a juvenile Bald Eagle perched on a branch above the nest. The juvenile Bald Eagle called almost continuously while I was there, but never moved from that spot.

The vegetation around the reservoir was so tall and thick that it was difficult to see what might be in the water or along shore lines, but I did manage to see a few species there. The escaped Black Swan was there as well.
