It was warm and sunny, and I headed over to Warren Ferry in southern Albemarle County to see if Yellow-throated Warblers had arrived. I didn't see any warblers there, although I did log 16 avian species in a fairly short time.

Next stop was nearby Totier Creek Park where I added five more species in and near the park. A pair of Pine Warblers was in the conifers near the parking lot.

I returned to my home in Crozet, and in the afternoon went over to Lickinghole Creek and Reservoir, where I saw some of the species I had seen in the morning, and added 14 more species to bring my day's list to 35 avian species. One of the Bald Eagles was in the nest, and Carolina Chickadees were gathering nesting materials.
