Summer birding here in Old Trail is fairly "ho-hum," and I usually see/hear about 20 avian species on a one to two hour hike. This morning wasn't any different, but I did see a pair of Blue Grosbeaks (my Old Trail avian species # 115). Northern Mockingbirds were abundant, and juveniles were out learning to forage for their own food.
