We had a soaking rain all night that ended a little before 9 a.m. this morning. With very overcast skies and chilly temperatures, it was a raw morning and I opted to do a little hiking here in Old Trail. I ended up with 24 avian species, and also saw 3 deer. Highlights were four female Buffleheads and both of our resident Red-shouldered Hawks.
