Crozet, VA; 2/2-4/19

It was back to reality after returning from mainland Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. I did some birding here in Crozet close to home in Old Trail, and a couple of hours at Lickinghole Creek and Reservoir. Once again, I had to get used to birds not being everywhere I looked, not being only a couple of feet away, and having to work at getting decent focus with my camera. Unless, noted otherwise, all of the photos below are from Old Trail.

There were five ducks in the golf course pond: three Redheads, one Bufflehead, and one Comon Goldeneye (my Old Trail avian species #132).
