Blackwater NWR, 11/11-16/2019

The weather took a turn for the worse. I knew that the forecast was for rain and dropping temperatures. I decided to try Blackwater NWR in light rain, and only saw a few species there. There were more Mallards than yesterday, and I saw a small flock of Lesser Yellowlegs.

I stopped at a small park in Cambridge where I saw some gulls, a few Buffleheads, and some American Robins, bringing my trip list to 45 avian species.

There was light snow in the early afternoon, and then heavy rain through the evening.
