Old Trail; December 26

I did some hiking here in Old Trail this morning, and ended up with 22 avian species. The Common Merganser was still in the golf course pond, and the Great Blue Heron that always has its mouth open was back.

Lickinghole Creek and Reservoir; December 27

I hiked a bit at Lickinghole, and ended up with only 14 avian species, bringing my 2 day total to 28 avian species. There were several families on the trail, and the birds seemed to be staying out of sight. One of the Bald Eagles was at its nest.

This report will be my last posting not only of 2019, but of this decade! Although I started my birding and wildlife photgraphy hobby in December 2006, I started these blog postings in January 2010, and every one of them over these 10 years are on my web site. All I can say is that it's been a HOOT! All the best to all of my readers for the new year and the new decade!
