Old Trail

It was another beautiful day here. I hiked for 2-1/2 hours and ended up with 26 avian species.

I tried to re-locate the Tennessee Warbler(s) to see if they were still along the trail above the wetlands. But there were obstacles that hindered birding. First, I had to shoo away a feral cat. Then there were several "walker-talkers," dog walkers, and joggers. Most of the little birds stayed hunkered down with all the commotion. I hung around to see if it might appear, but was unsuccessful. However, my first of season Winter Wren popped up for a few photos.
