We're stuck in a hot and humid weather pattern, and I don't think that there will be good avian migration until after the weather breaks.

August 26

I stepped outside a little after dark, and there was a small frog resting on our front steps railing. I usually do not use flash for photos, but gave it a try.

August 27

I went up on Route 610 and the Blue Ridge Parkway this morning, and it was really quiet. I heard one Hooded Warbler, and the Olive-sided Flycatcher was still at Hickory Springs Overlook.

I went over to Ridgeview Park in Waynesboro. It was quiet there as well, but I saw a young fox.
