I was at the Hawk Watch from about 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Before noon, I saw an Osprey and a Cooper's Hawk, and it was somewhat disappointing given the clear skies and strong northwest winds. After noon, the skies picked up a bit, and a few Broad-winged Hawks, Red-Tailed Hawks, and Ravens put on a show, but the highlight was a juvenile Cooper's Hawk that did a fairly close flyover.

A few minutes before I left, another hawk flew fairly close; expert spotters called it a Broad-winged, but the photo shows what appears to be faint patagial marks (Red-tailed), as well as trapezoidal translucent wing patches (Broad-winged), and it is unclear to me if it is a juvenile Broad-winged or a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk.
