Blue Ridge Parkway 10/4/11

I had a late morning/afternoon event on Wintergreen Mountain, so I decided to go the long way there to see what might be on the parkway. I first stopped at the mm.7-8 cirque from 9:30 to 10:00, and saw a Cape May Warbler and a Black-throated Blue Warbler, as well as a female Eastern Towhee and a Red-tailed Hawk. On my way to my second stop at Hickory Springs overlook, I saw another Red-tailed Hawk, and then a few dark-eyed Juncos and two more Red-tailed Hawks on Wintergreen Mountain.
