Rockfish Valley Trail 4/2/13

All photos are © Marshall Faintich

Walt Childs and I took the same route on the trail that I took yesterday, and we saw the same 25 avian species plus 5 others for a total of 30 species this morning. Highlights were getting a photo of a Winter Wren, and seeing a pair of Flickers fly from a tree cavity near the southern end of the bog area. We will have to monitor that site for little ones.
