These photos are most likely of Western Tanagers. The bird(s) reminded me of a female Orchard Oriole, but the bills are much too short and this species is very rare in Arizona. The bills do look a bit small for a drab female Western Tanager, but I couldn't find any other match, and the undertail pattern is not that of a finch.
