Rockfish Valley Trail, VA, 1/5/16

It was sunny but very cold this morning. I waited until 10:00 a.m. when the temperature climbed into the upper 20s before going to the trail. Most of the birds there were fluffed up and perched in the sun trying to keep warm. I only saw 14 avian species there, but two good ones: a Fox Sparrow and a Cooper's Hawk.
