Crozet, VA 9/23/17

It was still hot this morning, and I knew that the Blue Ridge Parkway would be busy with tourists, so I decided to try my luck at Lickinghole Creek and Reservoir. Althought I did end up with 21 avian species, I didn't see any warblers there. I think that we need a break in this hot weather for the birds to continue with their migration. Best birds were the pair of Green Herons that have been there for a month or longer.
