Blue Ridge Parkway, VA 6/13/18

We finally got a break in the rain, and I did a little birding on my usual route along the first 14 miles of Route 610/Blue Ridge Parkway. With all the dense foliage, it was difficult to see birds, much less see them long enough for a photo. I heard four warbler species all along the route: Hooded, American Redstart, Ovenbird, and Cerulean, but only saw a few of the latter three warbler species. I logged 15 avian species there.
