Halifax, Nova Scotia 6/28/18

The tour group visited the public gardens in the morning. The only new avian species I saw there was Northern Flicker, and two of these woodpeckers were having a bit of a dispute as to who had the rights to a particular tree.

We left Halifax and took the bus to Moncton in New Brunswick. We made a short stop just after entering New Brunswick, and I saw an immature male American Redstart (warbler) just starting to get its adult plumage.
