We had scattered rain and thunderstorms overnight, with the same forecasted for all day today, but there was a couple of hour break in the precipitation this morning. I wanted to see if any migrating warblers might have taken shelter along the parkway and Route 610. I only saw four warbler species there, but all four were in multiple locations along the first 13 miles of the parkway/Route 610. There were a few breaks of partial sunshine, but most of the two hours I was there were under dark, cloudy skies with a few brief showers. The wind ranged from mild to gusty at times.

After close to two hours on the parkway, the rain started getting heavier, so I ended my outing. I logged 23 avian species.
