With complete cloud cover that also shrouded the mountains, and intermittent rain forcasted for the entire day, I opted to hike here in Old Trail. It hasn't rained yet today, and I was able to get in a 4 mile hike that yielded 35 avian species (possibly 38). I saw several species that I haven't see so far this fall, as well as a few species migrating through the area.
