Old Trail

It was only 79 degrees when I started my hike, but the dew point was also in the 70s, making it, as one of our local weathermen says, "weather you can wear." I only lasted about 1-1/2 hours until it was just too uncomfortable to be outside. I ended up with 23 avian specie, including a few juveniles. The Blue Grosbeaks were not in their usual area, but I did hear one singing about a third of a mile away. I don't know if it was one of the ones I have been seeing since June 14, or a different bird.
