I met up with Tink Moyer to look for warblers that might have moved into the area. We started off on Route 610 between mm. 2 and mm. 4 of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and logged 19 avian species there. We saw out First of Season Blue-gray Gnatcatchers and a couple of Pine Warblers.

A distant hawk flew by. I wasn't able to get a good view of it, but it looked like an accipiter carrying a snake.

We then drove down to Ridgeview Park in Waynesboro. We saw more Blue-gray Gnatcatchers and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. One of the Kinglets appeared to have orangish crown feathers instead of red.
