Blue Ridge Parkway, VA 7/10/2021

7 warblers species breed along the first 14 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and parallel Route 610 between mm. 2 and mm. 4 of the parkway, where this road is only 50 to 100 feet away. I started out on the parkway, but turned around at mm. 8, as the parkway wasn't that "birdy," and the weekend traffic was starting to get heavy. Between mm. 4 and mm. 2 on Route 610, I saw more than 20 avian species, including all 7 of the warbler species.
