Alice and I visited with some friends who live in Fulks Run, VA. They told us that one of their neighbors had a family of Screech Owls that showed up every evening at dusk, so we walked over there after dinner. The first Screech-Owl showed up at 7:15 p.m., and was soon followed by the entire family. Theses owls flew from tree to tree, and the best we could count was that there were two adults and four juveniles. There wasn't a lot of light for photos, but I kept taking photos until it was 8:15, and much too dark to continue.
