Alice and I drove to St. Louis, MO to visit family for a couple of days, and then flew to Seattle, WA to visit with more family. Although this was not a birding trip, I did manage to log 31 avian species and get a few photos.
St. LouisAlice and I hiked on a trail around the ponds next to our hotel, and I saw both Red-tailed and Broad-winged Hawks elsewhere.

A MacGillivray's Warbler had been reported in Marymoor Park, so we did a short hike there. I didn't see this warbler species there, but did see a good selection of wildlife at this park.
