Crozet, VA 10/19/2021

It was a beautiful morning. A cool front has brought autumn temperatures here, and pushed some of the late migrating and winter species into the area. I hiked here in Old Trail and ended up with 31 avian species, including 4 warbler and 6 sparrow (including House) species.

I thought that I had only 3 warbler species, but when processing my photos, I found a Black-throated Green Warbler lurking behind some leaves.
