Old Trail

We had strong thunderstorms and tornado warnings last night, with some fog and drizzle this morning. I went out at 1:30 this afternoon to see if any migrating species had "fallen out" and sought shelter here in Old Trail. I got my first of season Orchard Oriole (first year male), several Yellow-rumped Warblers, and a Yellow Warbler in a location where I do not usually see this species. It started to drizzle again at 2:30, so I ended my hike with 23 avian species.
