There were very few birds on the parkway this morning. The only bird of note was a single Yellow-throated Vireo singing at Three Ridges Overlook. So I turned around, and birded along Route 610 between mm. 4 and mm. 2 of the parkway. I found two small clusters of birds north of mm. 3. At the first stop, there were two Hooded Warblers (one seen and another heard) and a Magnolia Warbler.

The second cluster was just to the north of the old tower. I got quick looks at single Black-throated Green, Hooded, and Magnolia Warblers, and photos of a female American Redstart and a first fall female Black-throated Blue Warbler (without a white wing patch).
